Our Story – Why Planned Restart Exists
Empowering Policy Reform Through Action
No one expects to be involved in police corruption. No one prepares to be falsely accused and their lives to collapse overnight. But for us and countless others, that’s exactly what happened.
My fiance and I are victims of police corruption and we would like to tell our story as it is one of being planned and targeted, our rights violated, arrested, wrongfully accused, publicized in the community paper, our lively hood lost (home, vehicle & jobs), chased out of town, homelessness and above all we almost lost our unborn child 3 times due to environmental stresses. All this induced by a Narcotics Officer with a personal vendetta against my fiance that stems from a personal encounter between the two back in or around 2019. But on Saturday June 14th 2025 @ 5:57 pm after 37 hrs of intense labor, our baby boy was born 3 weeks early. This injustice that was done to us did not have to happen, but the fact that is did has made us stronger as individuals and to make sure that this does not keep happening, we have vowed to put up a fight against this type of police corruption because amongst our journey, we ran into countless other individuals who have encountered similar police injustices. Out of all of this comes “Planned Restart”, our own Non-Profit organization to help expose this issue to the public and governing authorities and help to correct it through policy reforms. We need your help to get our message out loud and clear. So please join our movement to induce new policy reforms to fight against police injustice.
This wasn’t justice. It was premeditated destruction. Planned, targeted & executed by the very people who are sworn to be protect us.
But from that wreckage, Planned Restart was born.

A Personal Fight Turned Public Mission
We soon found out that our case wasn’t an isolated one. As we fought to clear our names and regain stability, we connected with others, people who had lost everything not because of what they’d done, but because of who targeted them and how the system failed to protect them. Many were still incarcerated. Others were newly released, homeless, unemployed, or battling trauma in silence.
The idea behind Planned Restart is simple: no one should have to face the justice system alone.
From Survival to Support
What started as a personal battle evolved into a structured mission. Through interviews, data collection, and collaboration with legal experts, social workers, and community leaders, Planned Restart mapped out what individuals need most during and after legal injustice:
- Safe, stable housing
- Food, clothing, and medical care
- Legal support and representation
- Mental health care and trauma recovery
- Access to employment and education
- Advocacy platforms and public visibility
Healing isn’t just about freedom, it’s about rebuilding purpose.

A Voice for the Silenced
Too many survivors of wrongful convictions and excessive sentencing are ignored. Their records follow them. Their trust is shattered. Their rights violated long before a courtroom is even involved. Planned Restart exists to restore dignity, to push for legal reform, public accountability, and wraparound support that acknowledges every layer of harm.
Today, we walk alongside the isolated, the unheard, and the newly released, not just to help them survive, but to help them restart, rebuild, and thrive.
This Is Just the Beginning
Our story is only one thread in a growing fabric of resistance, truth-telling, and justice-seeking. Planned Restart is here to connect those stories. To build pathways out of injustice and into restoration. And to make sure that Florida becomes a place where accountability isn’t optional, and no one is left behind.
We’re just getting started.
Because every restart deserves a plan, and a community to walk with you.

Stand with us to rebuild lives and demand justice for those failed by the legal system.
